RCBS molds are machined to exacting specifications ensuring accurate clean casts time after time from solid cast iron blocks. The cast iron blocks are precision ground square prior to machining. In addition, steel alignment pins are used to ensure perfect mating of the mold blocks even after years of heavy use. All RCBS mold blocks feature a 3/16" thick solid steel sprue plate that is held tightly in place with tempered steel spring washers and screws.

Older die sets utilizing a 1/4 – 28 threaded seater plug require #09698 for .357 .357 SIL and .44 SIL.
